Todd Polich talks about engaging with kids and youth

Todd Polich is an environmental mural artist that has painted over 30 wildlife and nature conservation murals throughout the lower mainland. After graduating from Vancouver Film School Todd went on to a successful career in the film and video games industries. As a digital artist and art director for Enigma Entertainment, Radical Entertainment, and Electronic Arts Todd worked on several motion pictures and 12 AAA video games titles.
In 2008, after working for 12 years in the film and video games industry Todd established Earth Foundation, a not for profit organization that educates and engages communities in environmental  conservation through large scale environmental art projects.
Realizing his passion and the value in working with young people Todd began including schools and community youth in all of his mural projects. Todd has worked with over 1500 students, and youth through Vancouver and Burnaby. Todd runs an afterschool creative arts program called Creative Minds at Work that teaches young people to develop their creative imagination abilities through art and expression.
Todd has sat on the City of Burnaby’s Social Sustainability Steering Committee, the Burnaby Board of Trade’s Environmental Committee, the EA Cares Social Charity Committee, EA Environmental Committee, is a David Suzuki Community Leader and a member of the Burnaby Board of Trade’s Board of Directors  Selection Panel.
