SPECIAL PRESENTATION: The Community Arts Fund In Action The first grant from the CACV’s new Community Arts Fund has gone to Vancouver Moving Theatre in partnership with the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians for the production of Bread and Salt – A Tribute to the East End’s historic Ukrainian Community. This will be a report from those involved.

The quality of the performances of the dancers, singers and actors was very high and the staging made powerful use of gesture and image to tell a moving story of struggle and solidarity.   It was clearly a piece that resonated with and created community.  Congratulations to everyone who had a part in making it happen!
