Kay Slater is here to energize the whole community!

February 9, 2013 by CACV Admin

kathryn_webfriendly ay is a ball of energy! – you should have seen her around kids at Henry Hudson Elementary school where she was one of the workshop artwork facilitators for the Debridement project (a partnership between Community Arts Vancouver and Vancouver Maritime Museum). Even her endeavours in the digital world (as a blogger, illustrator (that beautiful illustration on our Debridement poster is her work), designer, and a professional advertiser) were not enough to calm her down so she eventually found herself in teaching engagements and speaking gigs where she could do what she exactly enjoyed, standing up and taking charge.

She has millions of interests: tea, technology, comics, design, art, sex & sexuality, macaroni & cheese, games, green innovation, open source, books, music & musical instruments, culture, and Vancouver. Oh, she also plays ukelele on YouTube. You have anything in common? Follow her on twitter @kdot. Click here to visit her site.
