Join mixed media collage artist Quin Martins for an engaging and hands-on workshop designed for all skill levels, inviting participants to explore the art of collage as it relates to chaos. Collage tends to lend itself well to chaos, incorporating disparate elements into a cohesive whole.
Whether a beginner or a seasoned artist, you will discover new ways to express yourself and transform intuition and imagery into unique works of art.
What to Expect
- Quin will share how he uses the tools of over-stimulation and happenstance to quiet the inner critic and invite joyful exploration of materials and ideas
- All supplies provided (paper, paints, brushes, pencil crayons, felt pens)
- Introduction to collage techniques, including layering, cutting, and composition
- Opportunities to work with a variety of materials such as magazines, paper, found objects
- Time for creative experimentation
- Your own finished collage piece
