Eco-Arts Lantern for Winter Solstice 2011

September 10, 2011 by CACV Admin

In 2010, we did our first Winter Solstice Community Eco-Arts Lantern at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden.

We’ll be creating the structure – and plan – for 2011 on the third Sunday in November. Contact us if you want to be a part of this adventure.

Aleida and Derek created the structure. Participants punched decorative holes in magnolia leaves and added them.

This year we’re imagining more variety and a tree-shaped structure.  Probably using morning glory/bindweed as a key component for tying things together.
