Mary Bennett began working for CACV in fall of 2008 and has since enjoyed her role of building communications, supporting the board of directors and increasing volunteer engagement. She is also the coordinator of the Downtown Eastside Community Arts Fund (DECAF). Mary is a past Executive Director of the Canadian Unitarian Council and has worked in organizational consulting and team building facilitation. She has designed a teambuilding workshop, Just Scribble, which includes exercises based on children’s art making. Mary holds a B.Ed. (major in art education), is a practicing visual artist, and exhibits her work in the annual Artists in Our Midst in Vancouver.
