Hi,
My name is Heidi Nucklaus. I’m a project manager for Wasserman & Partners Advertising. We are working on a project with our client – The Port of Vancouver – involving the use of original art (paintings, photography etc).
Through the Community Arts Council of Vancouver, I am hoping to get contact information, samples of art etc from local Vancouver artists – preferably artists from the Downtown East Side. The pieces will be used for a variety of executions including newspaper ads and calendars. So far we have purchased 6 existing (non commissioned) pieces from artists around the Delta area. I can email you examples of what we’ve produced so far.
Please call me back and I can provide more details regarding the style we’re looking for, payment, timing etc.
Thanks very much.
Heidi Nucklaus

Hello,
My name is Anna Gusakova. Me and my husband, Mikhail Pertsev, are professional sculptors with fundamental Russian art education (Moscow Industrial Arts University), and we moved to Vancouver from Moscow two months ago.
We have special training in making art for public places both indoor and outdoor and we also have real life experience in realization of public sculptures and making diverse architectural sculptural elements. Everybody is very much welcome to see our works at http://picasaweb.google.com/pertsev.
This link presents the albums of pictures of works made by me, my husband and my husband’s father, Soviet painter Gregory Pertsev.
We are newcomers here, in Vancouver and in Canada and know little about local art life and traditions but we are full of energy and wish to become useful to this beautiful city. We hope that our knowledge and experience and talent will serve for Vancouver and Canadian culture. We are ready to do our best!
Thank you very much,
Sincerely yours,
Anna Gusakova and Mikhail Pertsev
